What is Miami Street Medicine?
Miami Street Medicine is a nonprofit organization providing free healthcare services and street medicine outreach for people in Miami-Dade County who face barriers to traditional medical care.
The organization serves people experiencing homelessness, poverty, unstable housing, lack of insurance, documentation barriers, and other challenges that make healthcare difficult to access.
Miami Street Medicine works to meet people where they are and help connect them to care, support, and long-term stability.
How do we get help for someone we’re concerned about on the street?
If you are concerned about someone living on the street or someone who may need free medical support in Miami-Dade, you can submit a Curbside Consult Request through the Miami Street Medicine website.
The curbside consult form helps our team understand the person’s location, medical concern, current needs, and any known barriers to care. You can also use our Community Resource Guide to find additional local support options.
If the situation you or the person you are concerned about is urgent or life-threatening, call 911 immediately.
