Even with available free clinics and traditional points of entry to hospital care, many barriers to healthcare remain for unsheltered individuals.
The Miami Street Medicine (MSM) clinic meets our neighbors on the street on their own terms. We offer home care to build trust, bridge gaps between existing healthcare services, transition patients into housing & a primary-care relationship, educate & counsel, and deliver other high-quality healthcare services free of charge. Additionally, we know not to underestimate the quiet healing potential of simply acknowledging a person’s humanity, empathetic listening, and collaborative service outreach.
